How to Use a Free Multi-Channel Feed Generator for Your Store
Crawl your store once and export feeds for Google, Microsoft, Meta and Pinterest from the same product data.
Creating a separate product feed for every sales channel is slow and leads to mismatched prices. The free SeoSpidie multi-channel feed generator crawls your store once and exports feeds for Google, Microsoft (Bing), Facebook and Instagram, Pinterest and other channels โ all from the same product data.
For why one source of data matters, read one product feed for multiple channels.
Step 1: Prepare your product pages
The generator reads your live product pages. Make sure each one shows the product name, price, availability and a main image, loads without logging in, and ideally includes Product structured data โ see product schema markup for ecommerce.
Step 2: Enter your store URL
Paste your shop's homepage. The tool crawls the site, detects product pages and extracts each product's details. Stores that build pages entirely with JavaScript may expose less information; Product schema helps in those cases.
Step 3: Review the products
- Remove items you do not want to advertise.
- Check prices include the correct currency.
- Make sure each product has its own image, not a logo.
- Add brand and GTIN where missing โ validate them with the GTIN validator.
Step 4: Export a feed for each channel
Download the feed for every channel you sell on. Each export uses that channel's expected format and values, built from the same product records, so IDs, titles and prices stay consistent everywhere.
Step 5: Host the files and connect each channel
- Upload each feed to your website at a fixed address, such as
/feeds/google.xml. - Add the feed URL as a scheduled fetch in Google Merchant Center, Meta Commerce Manager, Pinterest Catalogs and Microsoft Merchant Center.
- Choose a daily fetch time.
Channel guides: Google Shopping feed, Facebook feed and Pinterest feed.
Step 6: Keep everything in sync
Regenerate and re-upload the feeds whenever prices, stock or products change. Because all feeds come from one crawl, they stay consistent with each other and with your site.
A worked example
A jewellery store with 240 products sold through its website, Google Shopping and Instagram. It ran one crawl, reviewed the product list and removed 12 items it no longer stocked. It added brand names to 30 products where they were missing, and validated the barcodes. Then it exported the Google, Meta and Pinterest feeds and uploaded them to /feeds/ on its server. Each platform was set to fetch daily. When the store raised prices before a festival, one regeneration updated every channel the same morning, and no price-mismatch warnings appeared.
Common mistakes
- Uploading the feed once and never regenerating it.
- Exporting feeds from different tools, so product IDs no longer match.
- Including draft, hidden or out-of-stock products by mistake.
- Hosting feeds at temporary download links instead of a fixed address on your site.
